Designed by Jon Bannenburg of London and built in the Lurssen Werft shipyard outside Bremen for a private American owner, Limitless is universally acknowledged as one of the most technically advanced luxury motor yachts in the world.

Every statistic about her is impressive. At 96.25 metres long she is the third largest private yacht in the world. Her Caterpillar engines provide a total power output of 14000 kW and she can sail under direct diesel or diesel-electric drive for cruising comfort. Her top speed is 26 Knots and she can rotate within her own length. The total cost of the project was approximately US $100 million.

Bob Costello Associates Ltd were appointed by the Owner as consultants for the air conditioning and ventilation services. As with everything else on board, the services are state of the art. The chiller plant contains 3 x 210 kW Bitzer screw compressors providing chilled water to eight air handling plantrooms. The air conditioning equipment was purpose-built in Miami and the system integrators were based in Seattle.

Due to changing Owner requirements for accommodation, Limitless has recently undergone a major refit at the HDW Nobiskrug shipyard on the Kiel Canal in Germany. BCA was commissioned to oversee the services work and assist in the project management.
